Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Grale (available at grale.app), operated by UV Foundry LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Grale,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using Grale you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service Description

Grale is a Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG) pricing platform that aggregates publicly available market price data from third-party sources including TCGPlayer, eBay, and other marketplaces. The service includes:

• Card price lookups across multiple markets
• Price history charts and trend data
• Portfolio tracking for your collection
• Price alert notifications
• PSA and graded card price data

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from Grale without written permission
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the service in a way that impairs performance
• Attempt to access any account or system you are not authorized to access
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the service
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Circumvent any rate limiting, access controls, or security measures

4. Your Portfolio Data

Cards, quantities, purchase prices, and other data you add to your Grale portfolio belong to you. We do not claim any ownership over your portfolio data.

You may export your portfolio data in JSON or CSV format at any time from your account settings. Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days.

By using the service you grant us a limited license to store and process your portfolio data solely for the purpose of providing you with the service features (e.g., displaying your portfolio value, sending price alerts).

5. Third-Party Price Data

Price data displayed on Grale is sourced from third-party marketplaces and data providers including TCGPlayer, eBay, and others. We aggregate this data in good faith but cannot guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

We are not responsible for errors, omissions, or delays in third-party price data. Always verify prices directly on the marketplace before making a purchase or sale.

6. Affiliate Disclosure

Affiliate relationships do not influence the price data we display — we show market prices as-is from the source. Our affiliate participation is governed by the respective marketplace affiliate program agreements.

8. Payments & Subscriptions

Grale currently offers its core features free of charge. We plan to introduce optional paid features in the future (powered by Stripe). When paid features become available, specific pricing, billing, and refund terms will be published and will supplement these Terms. No payment is required or charged at this time.

9. Our Intellectual Property

The Grale name, logo, website design, software, and original content are owned by UV Foundry LLC and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without express written permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, UV FOUNDRY LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (USD $100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless UV Foundry LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the service shall first be addressed by contacting us at hello@grale.app. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Wyoming, USA, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email. Your continued use of Grale after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
